The Bourns CDDFN2-T12C is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transients (EFT). It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 13V at 1 mA. The device clamps transient voltages to a maximum of 25V at a peak pulse current of 1A (8/20 µs waveform), with a peak pulse power rating of 25W.
This TVS diode offers robust ESD protection, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 standards with a minimum contact discharge capability of 8 kV and air discharge capability of 15 kV. It has a low typical capacitance of 12 pF at 0V and 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection. The maximum leakage current at the working voltage is 2 µA.
The CDDFN2-T12C is housed in a surface-mount 2-UFDFN package (2-DFN, 1x0.6 mm) with 100% gold plating on the termination finish. It is designed to fit an 0402 footprint and is intended for general purpose applications in portable electronics, cellular phones, and other handheld devices.
The reverse standoff voltage (maximum working peak voltage) is 12 V.
