The CDBUR70 from Comchip Technology is a surface-mount Schottky barrier diode designed for low-voltage, high-speed switching applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 70V and an average rectified current of 70mA, with a typical forward voltage drop of only 0.41V at 15mA. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 5 ns and a low capacitance of 2 pF, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits.
Packaged in a compact 0603/SOD-523F 2-SMD no-lead package, the CDBUR70 is ideal for space-constrained designs. It supports an operating junction temperature up to 125°C and is RoHS and Halogen Free compliant. The gold-plated terminals ensure reliable solderability per MIL-STD-750.
Typical applications include polarity protection, DC-DC converter freewheeling diodes, and signal switching in portable electronics. The low forward voltage minimizes power loss, while the small package enables high-density PCB layouts.
