The CDBUR0520 is a Schottky barrier diode manufactured by Comchip Technology. It is designed for surface-mount applications and rated for a maximum average forward rectified current of 500 mA and a reverse voltage of 20 V (peak reverse voltage 30 V). The diode offers a typical forward voltage of 470 mV at 500 mA and 360 mV at 100 mA, making it suitable for low-voltage, high-efficiency rectification.
The device features a maximum reverse current of 100 µA at 20 V and a typical junction capacitance of 100 pF at 1 MHz. It is a fast recovery diode with recovery time less than 500 ns for currents above 200 mA. The maximum junction temperature is 125°C, and storage temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
The CDBUR0520 is housed in a leadless 0603/SOD-523F package, weight 0.003 g, with gold-plated terminals solderable per MIL-STD-750. It is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free. The package is extremely thin, suitable for compact designs.
Typical applications include polarity protection, freewheeling diodes, and low-voltage rectification in portable electronics, power management, and DC-DC converters.
