The CDBB140-G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for high-efficiency low-voltage power conversion. It offers a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 1A. The forward voltage drop is typically 500mV at 1A, enabling low power dissipation. The device is classified as fast recovery with a recovery time of 500ns or less at forward currents above 200mA.
This diode uses Schottky technology for fast switching and low forward voltage, making it suitable for applications such as polarity protection, freewheeling diodes, and DC-DC converter output rectification. It is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package, which is compact and suitable for automated assembly.
