CDBA540-HF is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from Comchip Technology designed for ultra high-speed switching applications. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified current rating of 5A. The forward voltage drop is 550mV maximum at 5A and 25°C, enabling low power loss and high efficiency. Reverse leakage current is 0.5mA maximum at rated reverse voltage.
The diode offers a non-repetitive surge current capability of 125A (8.3ms single half sine-wave) and a typical junction capacitance of 380pF at 4V, 1MHz. Operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C with a typical thermal resistance from junction to ambient of 24°C/W. It features a guard ring for overvoltage protection and is halogen free.
The device is housed in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) molded plastic case, with solderable terminals per MIL-STD-750, method 2026. Polarity is indicated by a cathode band. The package is suitable for low profile surface mount applications to optimize board space. For capacitive loads, derate current by 20%.
