The CDBA2100-G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for surface mount applications. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average rectified current rating of 2A. The forward voltage at 2A is typically 850 mV (max 0.81V from datasheet for the CDBA2100-HF series). The device offers fast recovery speed (≤500ns, >200mA) making it suitable for high efficiency power supplies.
This rectifier is packaged in the industry standard DO-214AC (SMA) case which is molded plastic with UL94-V0 flame retardant rating. It is halogen free and RoHS compliant. The part features a cathode band for polarity identification and is solderable per MIL-STD-750.
Additional specifications include a forward surge current capability of 50A (8.3ms half sine wave), a maximum reverse current of 0.5mA at 25°C (20mA at 100°C), and a junction capacitance of 30pF typical. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to +150°C and storage temperature is -50°C to +175°C. The component is suitable for low power loss, high efficiency rectification in switched mode power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and reverse polarity protection circuits.
