The CDBA140SL-G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from Comchip Technology. It is designed for surface mount applications and offers a low forward voltage drop.
It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 40V and an average forward current rating of 1A. The typical forward voltage is 310mV at 1A. It can handle a peak forward surge current of 35A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). Reverse current is 1mA at 25°C and 40mA at 80°C.
The device is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package, which is molded plastic with solderable terminals per MIL-STD-750. Polarity is indicated by a color band on the cathode end. The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 88°C/W and junction-to-lead is 20°C/W, measured with a 0.2x0.2 inch copper pad. Maximum operating junction temperature is 125°C.
Typical applications include low voltage, high frequency inverters, freewheeling, and polarity protection. The device is RoHS3 compliant and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited).
