The Comchip Technology CDA8S03-G is a single-channel steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode designed for ESD and transient suppression in general-purpose applications. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 8V and a reverse breakdown voltage of 7.2V minimum at 1 mA. The device offers a low capacitance of 1.0 to 5.0 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
With an ESD rating of 16 kV per IEC 61000-4-2, the CDA8S03-G provides robust protection against electrostatic discharge events. The forward voltage ranges from 0.6V to 0.95V at 50 mA, and reverse leakage current is between 0.1 µA and 2.0 µA at 7.1V. Maximum power dissipation is 225 mW.
