The CD74HCT273E is a high-speed CMOS octal D-Type flip-flop manufactured by Texas Instruments. This integrated circuit features eight flip-flops controlled by a common clock and an asynchronous reset input. Information at the D input transfers to the Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. All eight Q outputs reset to a logic 0 when the reset input is low.
This device offers direct LSTTL input logic compatibility with VIL of 0.8V maximum and VIH of 2V minimum, as well as CMOS input compatibility. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The flip-flops are housed in a 20-pin PDIP package and are supplied in tubes.
Key electrical characteristics include buffered inputs and standard outputs capable of driving 10 LSTTL loads, and bus driver outputs capable of driving 15 LSTTL loads. The HC types operate from 2V to 6V, while HCT types operate from 4.5V to 5.5V, providing significant power reduction compared to LSTTL.
