The Bourns CD214B-T20ALF is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for general purpose surge and ESD protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 20 V and a clamping voltage of 32.4 V at a peak pulse current of 18.5 A. The device can handle 600 W of peak pulse power (tp = 1 ms) and offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 ns from 0 V to minimum breakdown voltage.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with gull wing terminations and 100% tin lead-free finish. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and can withstand a peak forward surge current of 100 A (8.3 ms single half sine wave). The device is RoHS3 compliant and lead free.
