The Bourns CD214B-R3100 is a glass passivated rectifier diode designed for general purpose rectification applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward rectified current of 3A. The device offers low reverse leakage current (5 µA at 25°C) and low forward voltage drop (1V at 1A). It is capable of withstanding a peak forward surge current of 115A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). The diode is housed in a compact DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C. Typical applications include power supplies, converters, and freewheeling diodes.
