The Bourns CD214A-R1800 is a glass passivated rectifier diode designed for general purpose rectification applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 800V and an average forward rectified current of 1.0A. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.0V maximum at 1A and low reverse leakage current of 5µA at 25°C and 30µA at 125°C. Peak forward surge current is 30A for an 8.3ms single half sine-wave. Typical junction capacitance is 12pF at 4V and 1MHz. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 75°C/W and from junction to lead is 27°C/W when mounted on 0.2in x 0.2in copper pad areas.
The diode is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, which is compact and suitable for automated pick-and-place assembly. The glass passivated chip construction ensures high reliability and stability.
