The Bourns CD1005-T05C is a bidirectional TVS diode designed for voltage reference and transient protection applications. It features a working peak voltage of 5 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 5.1 V at 1 mA. The device clamps transient overvoltages to a maximum of 15 V at the peak pulse current of 5.1 A (8/20 µs waveform).
This diode provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 with ratings of 8 kV for contact discharge and 15 kV for air discharge. It has a low typical junction capacitance of 15 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines. The maximum leakage current at the working peak voltage is 2 µA.
The CD1005-T05C is housed in a surface mount 1005 (2512 metric) package with solder plated terminals. It is RoHS compliant and designed for general purpose circuit protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment.
The working peak voltage is 5 V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 15 V at the peak pulse current.
It provides 8 kV contact discharge and 15 kV air discharge protection per IEC 61000-4-2.
It is a surface mount 1005 (2512 metric) package.
The maximum peak pulse current is 5.1 A for an 8/20 µs waveform.
The typical junction capacitance is 15 pF and the maximum is 20 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz.
