The Wakefield-Vette CD-02-05-190 is a dielectric phase change thermal pad from the ulTIMiFlux series. It consists of a phase change compound coated on both sides of a polyimide carrier film, providing a uniform thickness of 0.076mm. The pad measures 254mm by 196.85mm and is orange in color.
This thermal interface material is designed to fill air voids between a heat sink and a heat-generating device, improving thermal transfer. It features a phase change temperature of 60°C, at which the compound softens to conform to surface irregularities, ensuring a low thermal impedance bond line.
The polyimide carrier offers excellent mechanical and dielectric properties, making the pad a cost-effective drop-in replacement for thermal greases. It is RoHS and halogen free compliant, suitable for use in a wide range of electronic cooling applications.
