The Texas Instruments CC2640R2LRHBR is a versatile wireless microcontroller (MCU) designed for Bluetooth 5.1 Low Energy applications. It is built around a powerful Arm Cortex-M3 processor, offering a CoreMark score of 142 and operating at clock speeds up to 48 MHz.
This device integrates a 2.4 GHz RF transceiver with excellent receiver sensitivity (-97 dBm for BLE) and a link budget of 102 dB. It supports programmable output power up to +5 dBm and is compatible with Bluetooth low energy 5.1 and earlier specifications.
Key features include 128KB of in-system programmable flash memory and 28KB of system SRAM, with 20KB of ultra-low leakage SRAM. Peripherals include UART, I2C, I2S, multiple timers, a 12-bit ADC, and an AES-128 security module.
