CC2590RGVR

The Texas Instruments CC2590RGVR is a cost-effective, high-performance RF Front End IC for low-power and low-voltage 2.4 GHz wireless applications. It serves as a range extender for 2.4 GHz low-power RF transceivers, transmitters, and System-on-Chip products.

This device increases the link budget by providing a power amplifier for increased output power, up to +14 dBm (25mW), and a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with a low noise figure of 4.6 dB for improved receiver sensitivity. It offers a typical sensitivity improvement of 6 dB. The CC2590RGVR operates over a frequency range of 2.4 GHz and supports proprietary 2.4 GHz standards. It is designed to seamlessly interface with Texas Instruments' 2.4 GHz low-power RF devices.

Key electrical characteristics include a transmit current consumption of 22 mA at 3V for +12 dBm output power and a receive current consumption of 3.4 mA in high gain mode or 1.8 mA in low gain mode. The operating voltage range is from 2.0 V to 3.6 V. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.

The CC2590RGVR is available in a compact 16-VQFN (4x4 mm) package. Its integrated features include switches, matching networks, a balun, and inductors, minimizing the need for external components.
