The Texas Instruments CC2540F256RHAT is a single-chip Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless MCU designed for low-power applications. It integrates an 8051 microcontroller core with BLE connectivity, enabling it to run both application code and the BLE protocol stack simultaneously.

This device features 256KB of in-system-programmable Flash memory and 8KB of SRAM. It operates in the 2.4GHz frequency band and supports Bluetooth v5.0 at data rates up to 1Mbps. Key electrical characteristics include an operating voltage range of 2V to 3.6V, an active mode RX current down to 15.8mA, and an active mode TX current of 18.6mA at -6 dBm. It also offers multiple low-power modes with current consumption as low as 0.4µA.
