The Texas Instruments CC1201RHBT is a versatile, single-chip RF transceiver IC designed for low-power and high-performance wireless applications. It integrates a microcontroller, offering a compact solution for various communication protocols including 6LoWPAN, IEEE 802.15.4, and proprietary systems.

This transceiver boasts excellent receiver sensitivity of -120 dBm at 1.2 kbps and a maximum programmable TX power of +16 dBm. It supports a wide range of modulation formats such as 2-FSK, 2-GFSK, 4-FSK, 4-GFSK, MSK, and OOK, with a maximum data rate of 1.25 Mbps. The operating frequency bands cover 164-190 MHz, 410-475 MHz, and 820-950 MHz, making it suitable for diverse ISM applications.

Key features include a hardware AES128 accelerator for security, separate 128-byte RX and TX FIFOs for efficient data handling, and support for antenna diversity.
