CC1020RUZR

The Texas Instruments CC1020RUZR is a true single-chip UHF RF transceiver designed for very low-power and very low-voltage wireless applications. It is intended for the ISM and SRD frequency bands, with programmable multichannel operation possible in the 402- to 470-MHz and 804- to 960-MHz ranges.

Key features include a frequency range of 402 MHz to 470 MHz and 804 MHz to 960 MHz, a high sensitivity of up to -118 dBm, and a programmable output power up to 10 dBm. The device supports data rates up to 153.6 kBaud and offers OOK, FSK, and GFSK data modulation. It operates with a low supply voltage from 2.3 V to 3.6 V and consumes only 19.9 mA in RX mode.

This transceiver is suitable for systems targeting compliance with standards like EN 300 220 and FCC CFR47 Part 15. It is designed for narrowband systems with channel spacing as low as 12.5 and 25 kHz. The CC1020RUZR is housed in a 32-VQFN Exposed Pad package and is designed for surface mount.

Applications include narrowband low-power UHF wireless data transmitters and receivers, automatic meter reading (AMR), wireless alarm and security systems, home automation, and low-power telemetry in the 433, 868, and 915 MHz ISM/SRD bands.
