CC1000-RTR1

The Texas Instruments CC1000-RTR1 is a true single-chip UHF RF transceiver designed for very low current consumption. It operates across a frequency range of 300-1000 MHz, supporting key bands such as 315, 433, 868, and 915 MHz. This device integrates a bit synchronizer and offers high sensitivity, typically -110 dBm at 2.4 kBaud.

Key electrical characteristics include a programmable output power from -20 to 10 dBm and a maximum data rate of 76.8 kBaud using FSK modulation. The operating voltage range is 2.1V to 3.6V, with typical current consumption around 7.4mA to 9.6mA. It complies with EN 300 220 and FCC CFR47 part 15 standards.

The CC1000-RTR1 is available in a compact 28-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its design requires very few external components, eliminating the need for an external RF switch or IF filter. The device also features an RSSI output and a single port antenna connection. It is suitable for frequency hopping protocols and applications requiring programmable frequency steps for crystal temperature drift compensation.

This transceiver is ideal for very low power UHF wireless data transmitters and receivers, including ISM/SRD band systems, remote keyless entry, home automation, wireless alarm and security systems, automatic meter reading, low power telemetry, and game controllers.
