The OptiFuse CBW28-3A is a thermal circuit breaker of the fuseholder type, designed for overcurrent protection in various applications. This single-pole device features a push-to-reset actuator and is rated for a continuous current of 3A. It is capable of interrupting 1000A at 250 VAC and 200A at 32 VDC. The breaker operates with a thermal trip mechanism, with a may-trip threshold between 101% and 134% of rated current, and must trip at 135% within one hour. The CBW28-3A is mounted via snap-in front panel mounting, accepting panel thicknesses from 0.8 to 2.1 mm. Electrical connections are made using 0.250-inch quick connect terminals made of nickel-plated brass. The device is CSA and cULus approved.
