CAT872-50ULGT3

The CAT872-50ULGT3 from On Semiconductor is a dual input reset generator engineered to restart microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems when critical resetting mechanisms fail. It monitors two inputs and generates an active low reset pulse after a factory preset minimum time.

This device operates on power supplies ranging from 1.65 V to 5.5 V and boasts an ultra-low quiescent current of 10 nA typical. It features Schmitt trigger inputs for enhanced noise immunity and offers 8 factory preset delay times from 0.5 s to 5 s. The reset pulse width is 2.2 ms for the CAT871 variant and 70 ms for the CAT872 variant. The open drain output can sink up to 3 mA and is suitable for wire-OR configurations.

The CAT872-50ULGT3 is supplied in a compact 6-ULLGA package measuring 1.45 x 1.0 mm, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
