The CAT810LTBI-GT3 from ON Semiconductor is a 3-pin microprocessor power supply supervisor. It monitors power supplies in digital systems, generating a reset signal when the voltage drops below a preset threshold. This device supports a nominal threshold voltage of 4.63V and provides an active high, push-pull reset output.
The supervisor is guaranteed to be in the correct state at VCC levels as low as 1.0V, and it ignores fast transients on the power supply. The reset signal is asserted while the power supply voltage is below the threshold and for at least 140 ms after the supply level has risen above that level. It is designed for operation over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The CAT810LTBI-GT3 is available in a compact SOT-23-3 surface-mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. This supervisor is a direct replacement for MAX810 in applications operating over the industrial temperature range.
