CA5260M

The SIL CA5260M is a dual BiMOS operational amplifier featuring a 3 MHz bandwidth, MOSFET input, and CMOS output. This integrated circuit combines the advantages of CMOS and bipolar transistors on a single chip, making it suitable for microprocessor and logic systems that utilize +5V supplies.

The input stage utilizes gate-protected P-Channel MOSFET transistors, providing very high input impedance, low input current, and exceptional speed performance. The common-mode input voltage capability extends down to 0.5V below the negative supply terminal, which is beneficial in single-supply applications. The output circuit employs a complementary-symmetry MOS transistor pair, capable of swinging the output voltage to within 10mV of either supply voltage terminal with high load impedance.

Key electrical characteristics include an open-loop gain of 110 dB, a common-mode rejection ratio of 85 dB, and a power supply rejection ratio of 84 dB. The device operates at supply voltages ranging from 4.5V to 16V or ±2.25V to ±8V with split supplies. The CA5260M is available in an 8-lead SOIC package and operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
