The CA02COM-E18-11S is a circular connector receptacle from the ITT Cannon CA-COM series, designed for reliable performance in demanding environments. It features a 5-position female socket contact arrangement with silver-plated contacts, housed in a nickel-plated aluminum alloy and zinc die-cast shell. The connector uses a threaded coupling mechanism for secure mating and is panel mounted with a flange for easy installation. Termination is via solder cup, accommodating wire sizes from 0.14 to 2.5 mm².
Rated for 41 amps and 50 volts, this connector offers an IP65 ingress protection rating, making it dust tight and water resistant. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is capable of at least 500 mating cycles. The connector is unshielded and has a normal (N) orientation. It includes a backshell and cable clamp for strain relief, and is waterproof to 1 bar for 12 hours.
Part of the CA-COM series, this receptacle is mateable with connectors conforming to MIL-C-5015 and CA series standards. The resilient insulator (polychloroprene) provides resistance to aggressive fluids such as fuel and oil, enhancing suitability for industrial, marine, and outdoor applications.
