The C8051F331-GMR is an 8-bit microcontroller based on the high-speed 8051 core from Silicon Labs. It delivers up to 25 MIPS throughput with a 25MHz clock and features 8KB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 768 bytes of internal data RAM. The device operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply and is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Digital peripherals include 17 general-purpose I/O lines that are 5V tolerant, along with connectivity options such as SMBus (I²C), SPI, and UART/USART. On-chip peripherals include power-on reset (POR), pulse-width modulation (PWM), and a watchdog timer (WDT). The internal oscillator eliminates the need for external clock components, and on-chip debug circuitry enables non-intrusive in-system debugging without an emulator.
The device is housed in a 20-VFQFN exposed pad package (20-MLP, 4x4mm) and is designed for surface mount assembly. It is supplied in Tape & Reel packaging for automated manufacturing. This microcontroller is suitable for embedded control applications requiring a small footprint, low power consumption, and robust digital communication interfaces.
The supply voltage range is 2.7V to 3.6V.
It is available in a 20-VFQFN Exposed Pad package, also known as 20-MLP (4x4mm).
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
It is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this is unverified.
It uses an 8051 core processor.
It has 8KB (8K x 8) of Flash program memory.
It supports SMBus (2-Wire/I²C), SPI, and UART/USART.
