It includes 16 kB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 1.25 kB of internal RAM. The device integrates a 10-bit ADC with up to 200 ksps sampling rate and 21 external input channels, along with analog comparators.

 

Peripheral features include a programmable counter array (PCA) with five capture/compare modules, four 16-bit timers, and a hardware-enhanced UART, SMBus, and SPI serial interfaces. The MCU also includes a built-in temperature sensor, power-on reset (POR), watchdog timer (WDT), and PWM outputs. An internal oscillator with ±2% accuracy eliminates the need for an external crystal in many applications.

 

The C8051F310 operates from 2.7V to 3.6V and draws 5 mA typical at 25 MHz, 11 µA at 32 kHz, and 0.1 µA in stop mode. It is available in a 32-pin LQFP package (7x7 mm) with 29 general-purpose I/O pins, all 5V tolerant. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
