The C8051F124-GQR is an 8-bit microcontroller based on the high-speed 8051 core from Silicon Laboratories. It features 128KB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 8.25KB of internal data RAM. The device operates at a maximum clock frequency of 50MHz, achieved via an internal oscillator with PLL, and supports external crystal, RC, C, or clock sources.
This microcontroller integrates a rich set of analog peripherals including a 12-bit SAR ADC with up to 100 ksps throughput and 8 external inputs, an 8-bit SAR ADC with 500 ksps throughput, two 12-bit DACs, two analog comparators, a voltage reference, and a built-in temperature sensor. Digital peripherals include 64 I/O pins (5V tolerant), SMBus/I2C, SPI, two UARTs, a 16-bit timer array with 6 capture/compare modules, and a watchdog timer.
On-chip JTAG debug and boundary scan enable full-speed, non-intrusive in-system debugging. The device also includes a brown-out detector and POR. It is supplied in a 100-pin TQFP package (14x14mm) with surface mount mounting and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
