The C8051F005 is a mixed-signal 8-bit microcontroller from Silicon Labs, part of the C8051F00x/1x family. It is built around a high-speed 8051-compatible core that executes up to 25 MIPS with a 25MHz clock. The device integrates 32KB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 2304 bytes of internal data RAM.
Analog peripherals include a 12-bit SAR ADC with 8 external input channels, programmable gain, and a maximum sampling rate of 100 ksps, as well as two 12-bit DACs, two voltage comparators, and an internal 2.4V voltage reference. Digital connectivity is provided via SMBus (I2C), SPI, and UART serial interfaces, along with a programmable counter/timer array and four 16-bit timers.
The microcontroller operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply and draws a typical current of 12.5mA at 25MHz. It is housed in a 64-TQFP (10x10mm) surface-mount package and supports an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. On-chip debug circuitry enables non-intrusive in-system debugging via JTAG.
