This KEMET C4AQ series DC link automotive grade film capacitor features a metallized polypropylene dielectric with self-healing properties, low loss, low ESL, and high ripple current capability. Rated at 1300V DC with 2.2 µF capacitance and ±5% tolerance. Designed for through-hole mounting with a radial box package (31.5mm x 14.0mm x 28.2mm) and PC pin terminations with 27.5mm lead spacing. Operating temperature range -40°C to +105°C. AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive applications.
The construction uses a rectangular plastic box filled with resin, providing high contact reliability. The ESR is 16 mΩ, ensuring low power dissipation. The self-healing property allows recovery from dielectric breakdown, enhancing reliability. Suitable for high frequency applications due to low ESL. Typical applications include DC filtering, DC link, power electronics, energy storage, renewable energy grid interface, motor drives, and automotive. The capacitor is RoHS compliant and REACH unaffected.
