C12000B

The Nicomatic C12000B is an SMT test terminal that offers substantial savings compared to traditional pin mounting methods. It eliminates the need for PCB piercing, hole plating, and manual insertion or soldering of test pins. This terminal can be used as a zero-resistance point and does not require a special compartment on auto-placing machines.

The component is constructed from a copper alloy with tin plating, featuring a nickel underlayer. The plating consists of 3 to 5µm of pure tin bright tin plating with a nickel under layer of 2µm, and a copper base of 2µm. The component size is 2.5 x 1.3 x 1.5 mm.

Designed for use with Pick & Place systems, the C12000B is supplied on reeled tapes with a standard SOT08-05 (8 mm tape carrier). Available quantities include reels of 2,000 or 8,500 parts. This test terminal provides a mechanical test hook interface on the SMD PCB, enabling operators to clip test probes from test rigs or oscilloscopes to key points on the PCB for testing zones separately or by comparison.
