The BZX85C8V2-TAP is a silicon planar power Zener diode from Vishay Dale's BZX85 series. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 8.2V with ±5% tolerance and a maximum power dissipation of 1.3W (tp=10 ms, leads at 4 mm from case at ambient temperature). The device offers a low dynamic resistance of 5Ω at IZT1, ensuring stable voltage regulation.
Designed for voltage stabilization and clipping circuits, this Zener diode operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 175°C with a maximum junction temperature of 175°C. The reverse leakage current is limited to 1 µA at 6.2V reverse voltage.
