The BZX85C24-TAP is a silicon planar power Zener diode from Vishay Semiconductors, part of the BZX85 series. It provides a nominal Zener voltage of 24V with a tolerance of ±5% and a maximum power dissipation of 1.3W under pulsed conditions (tp = 10 ms). The device features a maximum dynamic resistance of 25Ω at the test current and a reverse leakage current of 500 nA at 18V.
Designed for voltage stabilization, this Zener diode is suitable for clipping and clamping circuits requiring high power ratings. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and has a thermal resistance of 110 K/W junction-to-ambient.
