The BZX84C7V5 is a surface mount silicon zener diode designed for voltage regulation. It provides a nominal 7.5V zener voltage at a test current of 5mA, with a minimum of 7.0V and maximum of 7.9V.
This zener diode features a maximum zener impedance of 15Ω at the test current and 80Ω at 1mA knee current. Reverse leakage current is limited to 1.0µA at 5V, and the maximum forward voltage is 0.9V at 10mA. The device can handle up to 33mA of zener current and dissipates 350mW at 25°C ambient.
