The BZX55C43 is a 43V Zener diode from ON Semiconductor designed for general-purpose voltage regulation and reference applications. It features a nominal zener voltage of 43V (range 40V to 46V measured at 2.5mA) with a tolerance of ±7% and a maximum zener impedance of 90Ω. The device can dissipate up to 500mW at a lead temperature of 75°C or below, with a derating factor of 4.0mW/°C above that temperature.
The diode offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.3V at 100mA and a reverse leakage current of 100nA at 32V. The maximum zener current is 42mA. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -65°C to 200°C, making it suitable for demanding environments.
The BZX55C43 is packaged in a DO-35 glass case with axial leads for through-hole mounting. The cathode is identified by a color band. This package is compatible with standard PCB assembly processes and is suitable for both automated and manual insertion.
