The BZW06-33B is a bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diode designed for general purpose overvoltage protection. It is manufactured by STMicroelectronics and features a standoff voltage of 33.3V with a maximum clamping voltage of 69.7V at 57A peak pulse current (8/20 µs waveform). The device can handle 600W of peak pulse power.
This TVS diode is suitable for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge. With a capacitance of 450pF at 1MHz, it is optimized for low frequency applications. The bidirectional nature allows for protection of circuits with positive and negative voltage spikes.
