The BZW04-15 is a 400W unidirectional Transil™ TVS diode designed for transient overvoltage protection. It features a stand-off voltage of 15.3V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 17.1V at 1mA, and a clamping voltage of 25.2V under a 10/1000µs waveform. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 16A (10/1000µs) and 71A (8/20µs).
With a low leakage current of 1µA at 15.3V and a typical capacitance of 975pF at 1MHz, this diode is suitable for protecting sensitive circuits. It offers fast response time and is UL recognized. The operating temperature range spans -65°C to +175°C.
The BZW04-15 is housed in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial leaded package for through-hole mounting. It is intended for general purpose applications such as power supply protection and voltage clamping.
