The BZW04-26 is a 400W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect voltage-sensitive circuits from overvoltage transients. It features a stand-off voltage of 25.6V, minimum breakdown voltage of 28.5V at 1mA, and maximum clamping voltage of 41.5V at 9.6A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). At 8/20µs the clamping voltage is 53.5V. Reverse leakage current is 1µA maximum at rated stand-off voltage. Typical capacitance is 575pF at 1MHz.
The diode offers fast response time and low clamping factor, suitable for protecting MOS technology and low-voltage ICs. It is packaged in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial leaded through-hole package. Maximum junction temperature is 175°C. The part is UL recognized. Absolute maximum ratings include a non-repetitive surge peak forward current of 30A (10ms) for unidirectional types.
