The BZW04-37 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for overvoltage and ESD protection in commercial and industrial applications. It features a stand-off voltage (VWM) of 36.8V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 41.1V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 59.3V at a peak pulse current of 6.7A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W under the same waveform conditions, with a steady-state power dissipation of 1.0W at 75°C ambient. The diode offers very fast response time and is rated for junction temperatures up to 175°C. It is supplied in a through-hole DO-204AL (DO-41) axial-lead package, suitable for general-purpose circuit protection. The part is RoHS compliant (exemption 7a) and meets REACH and Conflict Minerals requirements per the datasheet.
