The BZM55B27-TR is a Zener diode from Vishay Dale's BZM55 series, designed for voltage stabilization in surface-mount applications. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 27V with a tolerance of typically ±5% (range 26.2V to 28.35V), and a maximum power dissipation of 500mW at 25°C ambient temperature.
This diode is housed in a MicroMELF package (2-SMD, no lead), measuring approximately 12mg. It offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.5V at 200mA, a maximum reverse leakage current of 100nA at 20V, and a dynamic impedance of 220Ω at the test current. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C, with a junction temperature maximum of 175°C.
Designed for voltage stabilization, the BZM55B27-TR provides a very sharp reverse characteristic and low reverse current, making it suitable for precision voltage reference and regulation circuits. The hermetic sealing ensures high stability and reliability. The package is compatible with standard soldering conditions (peak 260°C) and is MSL level 1 (unlimited) per J-STD-020.
