The BZD27C33P-HE3-08 is a 33V Zener diode from Vishay, part of the BZD27C series. It is designed for voltage regulation and overvoltage protection in a wide range of applications. The diode offers a maximum power dissipation of 800mW at 30°C ambient temperature when mounted on a standard epoxy-glass PCB with 3mm x 3mm copper pads, and up to 2300mW at a lead temperature of 105°C. It can handle non-repetitive peak surge power of 300W for a 100μs pulse and 150W for a 10/1000μs waveform, making it robust for transient conditions.
The device features a low forward voltage of 1.2V at 200mA and a low leakage current of 1μA at 24V reverse voltage. Its maximum impedance (Zzt) is 15Ω. The diode is unidirectional with a single circuit configuration, suitable for standard Zener applications.
The part is housed in a compact surface-mount DO-219AB (SMF) package, weighing just 15mg. It meets MSL level 1 (unlimited) and has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0. The operating temperature range spans from -65°C to 175°C, with a maximum junction temperature of 175°C.
