The BZD27C27P-E3-08 is a 27V Zener diode from Vishay Dale's BZD27C series, designed for general purpose voltage regulation and protection. It features a maximum power dissipation of 800mW and a low forward voltage of 1.2V at 200mA. With a reverse leakage current of only 1µA at 20V and a maximum Zener impedance of 15Ω, it offers stable performance across its operating temperature range of -65°C to 175°C.
Packaged in a surface mount DO-219AB (SMF) case, the diode is suitable for high-density PCB designs. It is RoHS compliant (E3 suffix) and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020, with wave and reflow solderability. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging (3000 units per 7" reel) for automated assembly.
While the commercial grade (E3) is intended for industrial applications, an AEC-Q101 qualified version (HE3 suffix) is available for automotive use. The diode's surge current specification makes it appropriate for transient voltage suppression in power supplies and signal lines.
