The BZD17C100P-E3-08 is a silicon planar Zener diode from Vishay Dale, part of the BZD17C series. It is designed for voltage regulation and protection applications in low-power circuits. The device offers a maximum power dissipation of 800mW at 25°C ambient temperature, and 2.3W at 80°C lead temperature. It can handle non-repetitive peak pulse power up to 300W for 100µs square pulses.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.2V at 200mA, and a reverse leakage current of 1µA at 75V reverse voltage. The junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, with a storage temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 180 K/W when mounted on a standard epoxy-glass PCB with 3x3mm copper pads, and junction-to-lead is 30 K/W.
