BYW29-200-E3/45

The BYW29-200-E3/45 is an ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay, designed for high-frequency switching applications. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 200V and an average rectified current of 8A. The diode features a fast reverse recovery time of 25 ns, low forward voltage drop of 1.3 V max at 20 A, and high surge current capability up to 100 A. The device uses a standard technology with a junction capacitance of 45 pF at 4 V and 1 MHz. It is housed in a TO-220AC package, with through-hole mounting and a maximum mounting torque of 10 in-lbs. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. Typical applications include switching mode power supplies, inverters, freewheeling diodes, and DC/DC converters. The diode is RoHS compliant (E3 suffix) and meets MSL level 1. It is not AEC-Q101 qualified (E3 suffix).
