The BYVF32-200-E3/45 is a dual common-cathode ultrafast rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, packaged in an ITO-220AB full-pack through-hole package. It uses a glass passivated pellet chip junction and is designed for high-frequency power conversion applications such as switching mode power supplies, inverters, DC/DC converters, and freewheeling circuits. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified forward current of 18A, with a non-repetitive peak forward surge current capability of 150A.
Recovery performance is characterized by a reverse recovery time of 25ns, supporting low switching losses and high efficiency. The typical forward voltage is 0.85V, and forward voltage is 1.15V at a 20A test condition. Maximum junction temperature is 150°C, with an operating junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. These electrical characteristics make the part suitable for continuous conduction mode power stages where fast switching and low forward drop are required.
The ITO-220AB full-pack package has an isolated tab, simplifying heatsink mounting without an additional insulating pad. The leads are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the E3 suffix indicates RoHS-compliant commercial-grade construction. This device is part of the BYV32 family of dual common-cathode rectifiers available in TO-220AB, ITO-220AB, and D2PAK package variants.
