The BYV10ED-600PJ is an ultrafast power diode from WeEn Semiconductors, designed for high-efficiency power conversion applications. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward current of 10A under square-wave conditions. The diode offers a typical forward voltage of 1.5V at 10A and 25°C, with a maximum of 2V. Its reverse recovery time is typically 35ns at 1A test conditions, enabling fast switching. The device is housed in a TO-252 (DPAK) surface-mount package, suitable for automated assembly. Applications include Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuits in both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes, as well as interleaved topology converters. The diode's soft recovery characteristic and high thermal cycling performance make it reliable in demanding environments.
