The Vishay BYM12-400-E3/97 is a surface-mount glass passivated ultrafast rectifier diode designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications. It is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified current of 1A.
This diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns, enabling efficient switching in high frequency converters and inverters. It can handle a peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms single half sine-wave) and has a maximum forward voltage of 1.25V at 1A.
