The BYM10-1000-E3/96 is a surface-mount glass passivated junction rectifier diode from Vishay Dale, part of the Superectifier series. It is rated for an average rectified current of 1A and a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1000V. The diode offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.2V at 1A and a peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave). Reverse leakage current is limited to 10 µA, and the device can handle 5 mJ of non-repetitive peak reverse avalanche energy.
Designed for general purpose rectification, the BYM10-1000-E3/96 is suitable for use in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications in consumer, automotive, and telecommunication equipment. It features a standard recovery speed greater than 500 ns at 200 mA.
The diode is housed in a DO-213AB MELF (glass) package with matte tin plated leads, supporting surface mount assembly. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
