The BYM07-150-E3/98 is a surface-mount glass passivated ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay Dale. It is designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching mode converters and inverters. The device features a cavity-free glass-passivated junction for high reliability.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 150V, an average rectified current of 0.5A at 75°C, and a typical forward voltage of 1.25V at 500mA. The reverse recovery time is 50ns, enabling efficient high-speed switching. The diode can withstand a peak forward surge current of 10A (8.3ms single half sine-wave).
