The BYG22A-E3/TR3 is an ultrafast avalanche SMD rectifier from Vishay Dale, designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in switching converters. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 50V and an average forward current of 2A. The device features a low forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 2A, and a reverse recovery time of 25ns, making it suitable for high-speed switching. The rectifier is housed in a compact SMA (DO-214AC) package, ideal for automated placement. It is glass passivated and meets MSL level 1. The part is RoHS-compliant (E3 suffix).
